EA-2@ZBcenter: Sound Exhibition and Laptop Jam

EA-2@ZBcenter is the Chicago Composers Forum’s annual concert of Electronic Arts which will be held
at the Zhou B Art Center located at 1029 W35th Street on July 21.

The program’s goals are to provide opportunities for Chicago area composers and audiences to experience new electroacoustic music and electronic arts in the new Zhou Brothers Center. The concert will be presented by the Chicago Composers Fo-rum (CCF) and will be in two parts: a juried exhibition of works by CCF members and a laptop computer jam featuring up to eight performers on laptop computer.
Composers may diffuse their works at the mixing console and will provide informal verbal program notes to the audience before the performance of their music. Audience members may sit or move around the space during the program.
